URBANA - SLC District Manager
Urbana Custom is a tailoring outfit (pun intended) created to push the boundaries of the conventional retail experience. We believe in creating products that are designed to suit (literally) the individual – both in style and in fit. Our brand is a collaboration of our inspirations, gifts, and hard work.
We’re on the hunt for a District Sales Manager – someone who shares the same passion for quality clothing, above-and-beyond customer experience, and growing a brand. The ideal candidate loves to develop relationships with others, stays up on fashion trends, and is incredibly well-organized.
So what would you do?
Client-facing
You’ll be designing custom products for clients. You need to be opinionated and express a vision for their style based off their needs, lifestyle, and pre-existing wardrobe. You’ll take and update clients’ measurements to ensure each piece of clothing fits the individual perfectly.
Internal

Keep track of deadlines for your clients and follow up with them and operations promptly.

Stay current on clients’ wish list, e.g. 'I want a grey suit next.'

Communicate with the regional Brand Ambassador, who generates inbound leads for you, to grow your territory.

Build local brand awareness by thinking of creative events and marketing campaigns to reach new clients.

A proven sales track record – We want to see that you get excited by bringing in money to grow the business (and to have extra cash for wish list items of your own you’ve been wanting for months).

Entrepreneurial, fast learner – We don’t want to micromanage you, and you shouldn’t want to be micromanaged.

Fashionable – Want to work for a bespoke clothier? Dress for the part. But no pressure, because you probably already do.

Analytical – You should be able to see kinks in the current Urbana process and suggest fixes to make things run smoother.

Detail Oriented – It’s no stretch for you to nail measurements and remember the little details about a customer’s preferences.

Self-motivated – While you will be inheriting existing customers, you’ll really only excel if you see this as an opportunity to build your own business by growing your clientele.
What you'll get-
In return for managing Utah Urbana, the District Manager will receive:

All Urbana SLC current clients

A (%15-30 commissions on sales plus bonus) split on all profits from new clients

Right now, we’re looking for brand ambassadors to spread the word on Urbana. Could it be you? Are you the go-to guy in your friend group who always gets asked what kind of shoes to buy? Or maybe the girl everyone goes to asking how they should cut their hair. When 'people watching', do you constantly check out others’ outfits and wish you could just tweak their wardrobe, or redesign them out completely? Well, whether it’s a natural given talent, or you’ve been a loyal GQ consumer, your hard work is about to pay off.
What's a Brand Ambassador do?
We’re looking for people who will help spread the Urbana experience through content, social media posts, events, and more! You would work closely with our District Manager and Fitters, making sure the sales leads you generate are carefully managed from start to finish. We want proactive individuals who can think outside the box and work with the Urbana Team to grow a unique and personal brand.
